About APSE seminars and events
APSE seminars aim to provide delegates with an invaluable insight into both issues of policy and practice within local government. Through high profile plenary speakers, specialist workshops and break-out sessions run by expert speakers and fellow local government practitioners, our events offer ample opportunity to meet with representatives from other local authorities; helping to develop best practice and discuss the latest issues and problems and how they might be solved.
APSE holds a selection of service area and issue based seminars throughout the year and also a range of seminars for our members in front line services such as catering, cleaning, leisure, highways and parks which take place across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

APSE supports and also works in conjunction with a number of organisations to bring our contacts access to seminars and events on a number of issues.
APSE Apprentice Awards
The APSE Apprentice Awards have been running successfully for 12 years throughout the UK. The aim of the awards, which are open to every authority in the UK, is not only to give recognition to our future tradespersons, but also to the councils themselves who continue to invest in and provide first class training / employment initiatives in bona-fide Modern Apprenticeship schemes.
