APSE seminars aim to provide delegates with an invaluable insight into both issues of policy and practice within local government. Through high profile plenary speakers, specialist workshops and break-out sessions run by expert speakers and fellow local government practitioners, our events offer ample opportunity to meet with representatives from other local authorities; helping to develop best practice and discuss the latest issues and problems and how they might be solved.

APSE holds a selection of service area and issue based seminars throughout the year and also a range of seminars for our members in front line services such as catering, cleaning, leisure, highways and parks which take place across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

APSE supports and also works in conjunction with a number of organisations to bring our contacts access to seminars and events on a number of issues.

Member rates
Membership of APSE entitles participants from member authorities to attend any of these events at a heavily discounted rate. For events that last more than one day, hotel accommodation is offered to delegates at a substantially discounted rate. Seminar fees include all delegate documentation, meals and refreshments as appropriate
